It’s not often we get to photograph same sex marriages in Australia, as no government has yet had the political courage to legalise it. But it is legal in the UK, and so British passport holders in Australia may marry at the British Consulate in Sydney. So that’s what Matt & Brett did.
They have been together for decades, and met many years ago while working as dancers at the famous Moulin Rouge in Paris. Half the guests were also ex Moulin Rouge showgirls, so not only was this one of the most fun weddings I’ve ever shot, but also one of the more glamorous ones too.
