People often ask me why we not only shoot digital but also still shoot film at weddings.
These images are the reason why. The colours and tones are gorgeous, and no matter how much you try, you just can’t make digital images look quite like this.
The black and white’s were shot on the famous old Kodak Tri-X 400, and the colour images were shot on a mixture of Fuji Pro and Kodak Portra negative films and the extraordinary Fuji Velvia 50 transparency film.
Black and whites were processed by hand at our studio, and the colour films were processed and scanned at FotoReisel in Sydney.
